Redline Studios custom build our photorealistic materials and textures from scratch, giving us full control of the look and feel of the material and its components, providing a bespoke response to a project’s design thus meeting the client and/or architect's specification down to the smallest detail. Each aspect of the material can be tweaked with a click of a button, facilitating instant feedback.
Our textures are created with work arounds for repeating tiling images. Our textures are 32 bit colour depth, and from 512 image to a 8k image resolution depending on project requirements.
We are currently putting together a full materials catalogue, to which we will be adding as new examples are built. This will speed up the design process resulting in more efficient project delivery.
Please note that the materials have a reflection - pure white and 50% grey ball - to show the material under those lighting conditions. However, these will react differently, for example, for overcast days or in night scenes, etc. Where applicable, we have displayed the textures used to create the overall material.
We use our vast knowledge across several industry standard software packages to create or recreate photorealistic assets and/or materials, in order to customise them to the project, architect or Client’s needs.
Our workflow is a non-destructive one, meaning we can go back and tweak a parameter and it ripples through the pipeline, optimising feed back and return.
Software includes, for modelling with use; 3ds Max, Blender and zBrush. For textures; Substance Designer and Substance Painter. Compositing done in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
